Remember to sell your Treasures for a lot of Lei and also note that enemies drop more Lei on higher difficulties. The weapon doesn’t have to be fully maxed out for the Cheat to work, you only need to max it out once to unlock the cheat but then it works on the non-upgraded weapon too. You will have your Lei back but get to keep the Infinite Ammo Cheat. Reload your first Manual Save from before spending all the money on the weapon upgrades. Buy the Cheat from the Extra Content Shop using the CP Currency. The Infinite Ammo Cheat will now be unlocked. However, there is an easy trick around this: Create a Manual Save > Buy all Upgrades for a Weapon including Weapon Parts > Save in a different Slot > Exit to Main Menu. This is quite costly and requires well over 1 Million Lei for some weapons. Most weapons and customizable parts can also be bought from the Duke, but some are found elsewhere in the game (see RE8 Collectible Guide for all of them). To make the Infinite Ammo available for purchase you must also unlock all the weapon’s customizable parts (2-3 per weapon) and also buy all Gunsmithy Upgrades from the Duke. You can check the Challenges at any time in the Pause Menu while playing. The Challenges only become visible after the first playthrough, but any that you did during the first playthrough will still be counted. This shop uses a currency called CP that you get from completing specific challenges in the game (different from the Lei currency used with Duke Merchant). After finishing the story go to the Title Screen > Bonuses > Extra Content Shop. The Extra Content Shop is only available after beating the story. Obviously easier difficulties mean a much easier and faster tournament.There are 15 weapons with Infinite Ammo.

You'll get the Demonscales ending and a hefty amount of samurai points (Between 1100-1800 depending on difficulty), and it takes <10 minutes. You get more points for not doing anything dishonourable (So no killing, no looting bodies, no kicking bodies, no breaking crates during this speed run). Try to use the blunt reverse blade on your tourney opponents, and when their vitality bar is empty press button to speak and say 'I call this match' so they don't die. Travel to the Main Plaza, enter the tournament, win. Travel to the Town, watch auto-cutscene. Go to the Main Plaza, watch the minister cutscene. Immediately walk back to the Harbour to view auto-cutscene. Start the game, don't get involved in the Harbour fight. You get more points on higher difficulties, but if you want to do it on easy or normal you should still get about 1200+ in about ten minutes. There's a simple way to get samurai points, it just requires a very quick speed run.
